James Cook University

James Cook University was established in 1970. With campuses in Townsville and Cairns, smaller study centres in Mount Isa, Thursday Island, and Mackay, and a larger campus in Brisbane. The University offers a wide variety of courses ranging from alternate university pathways courses to postgraduate research courses. There are specialised courses for indigenous students as well. The University’s research output is on par with the world’s top universities. Attractive scholarships are also offered to deserving students to help them complete their higher education.
